This document sets forth the principles for processing the personal data of Users of the “Skills Audit Method” website as well as the use of cookies on the website. The data controller is the Educational Research Institute – National Research Institute (hereinafter “IBE PIB”) headquartered in Warsaw at ul. All questions and requests on exercising your rights as well as inquiries concerning this Privacy Policy should be directed to our Data Protection Officer at the following e-mail address: iod@ibe.edu.pl or to the Data Controller’s address indicated above.

When you enter the website, the User’s browser automatically sends information to the website server, such as:

the browser used and, if necessary, the computer’s operating system, as well as the name of the access provider,

This data is processed by IBE PIB for the purposes of:

providing electronic services in the scope of making content available on the website – the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – processing is necessary for the performance of a contract,
analytical and statistical purposes – the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest of the controller consisting in analyzing user activity and preferences to improve functionalities and services provided,
possible establishment, pursuit, or defense against claims – the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest of the controller to protect its rights.

Cookies

The website uses cookies. These are small files with information that are stored by the web browser on the User’s hard drive or in the memory of a mobile device during the visit. Data Recipients

User personal data will be processed as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of processing or until an objection is filed (if the basis is the legitimate interest of the controller) – whichever occurs first. For data processed based on consent, personal data will be processed until consent is withdrawn or the reason for processing ends.

the right to access their data and receive a copy thereof, the right to rectify (correct) their personal data, the right to erasure, the right to restrict processing – in accordance with GDPR provisions,
for data processed based on consent, the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing,
in the case of processing for legitimate interests, the right to object for reasons relating to the individual’s particular situation,

To ensure the Privacy Policy always complies with current legal requirements, IBE PIB reserves the right to make changes at any time. Any changes or additions will be communicated by posting relevant information on the website.
